The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is the cell that is formulated for monitoring the quality parameters in the institute. The work of the IQAC is the first step towards internalization and institutionalization of quality circles in academic and general administration in the institute. Its success depends upon the sense of belongingness and participation in all the constituents of the institution. It will not be yet another hierarchical structure or a record-keeping exercise in the institution. It will be a facilitative and participative voluntary system/unit/organ of the institution. It has the potential to become a vehicle for ushering in quality enhancement by working out planned interventionist strategies by IQAC to remove deficiencies and enhance quality like the “Quality Circles” in industries.

The Principal of GRCP, is the Chairperson of IQAC and committee includes all stakeholders of the Institute, i.e. students, alumni, Laboratory staff, Examination & Evaluation, Academic co-ordinator, members of the Management and Administration and members of local community and industry experts.

Roles and Responsibilities of IQAC @ GRCP

Direct & Indirect Assessment & Evaluation of benchmarks for various courses/subjects

  1. Direct & Indirect Attainment of benchmarks for various courses/subjects.
  2. Assessment and Attainment of Course Outcomes and Programme Outcomes.
  3. Facilitating enhancement of participatory teaching learning process using ICT.
  4. Develop Metrics and Evaluation for stakeholders’ feedback, Analysis & Measures.
  5. Promulgation & Pronouncement of institutional quality standards/parameters amongst stakeholders.
  6. Organize workshops, seminars, conferences, symposiums, and development programmes for both faculty and students.
  7. Encourage student and faculty participation in workshops, seminars, conferences, symposiums, and development programmes.
  8. Documentation of impact of various programmes attended and organised both by the student and faculty members leading to quality improvement.
  9. Encourage & involve both students and faculty members in Industry-Institute-Interaction programmes.
  10. Encourage & involve both students and faculty in professional development and association activities.
  11. Development of Quality Culture among stakeholder of the institution.
  12. Prepare Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) & upload in website.
