ADMISSIONS OF B.PHARM

GRCP is affiliated to Osmania University. In GRCP, Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with grading system has been adopted for B. Pharmacy with effect from the academic year 2016-17. This system facilitates student mobility across institutions, within and across countries and also enable potential employers to assess the performance of students. The grading system is considered to be better than the conventional marks system and hence it has been followed in the top institutions in India and abroad. The CBCS provides choice for students to select from the prescribed courses (core, elective or minor or soft skill courses).

First year

a) A pass at the Intermediate Examination of Andhra Pradesh State Intermediate Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology or equivalent.
b) Qualifying at the Entrance Examination (EAMCET) conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education.

Second year (Lateral Admission)

a)A pass at D. Pharmacy course (ER-91) with I class
b) Qualifying at the Entrance Examination (E-CET) conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education.

ADMISSIONS OF M.PHARM

1) A pass at B. Pharm degree examination of Osmania University or any other examination recognized by Osmania University as equivalent here to and passed the Graduate Aptitude test for Engineers (GATE/GPAT) Examinations.
2) Vacancies remaining after allotment of seats to GATE/GPAT qualified candidates are open to candidates who have passed the B. Pharm degree Examination of Osmania University or any other examination equivalent there to with minimum 55% Aggregate marks and passed the entrance examination as prescribed by Osmania Examination (APPGECET).
